Talleres para 5º y 6º / Workshops for 5th and 6th grades.

Durante los meses de marzo y abril se han realizado dentro del Centro diversos talleres educativos para los alumnos de 5º y 6º:

- Peligros en la red: Consuelo, agente de la Policia Nacional en Cuenca, explicó a los alumnos algunos de los peligros de internet y las redes sociales. También les enseñó como podemos evitar, en la medida de lo posible, esas amenazas.

- La mujer en la Ciencia: Ana, profesora en Ingeniería de la Universidad de Castilla la Mancha habló sobre el importante rol que muchas mujeres han jugado en la Ciencia y ha animado a los alumnos, especialmente a las niñas, a adentrarse en dicho campo.

- Taller de reciclaje: Personal de Ecoembes vino al colegio a explicar a los alumnos la forma correcta de reciclar y separar los desechos. Tras la información recibida sobre el reciclaje, alumnos de 5º y 6º, ya expertos en el tema, fueron los encargados de explicar a los alumnos de 1º, 2º, 3º y 4º cómo utilizar los nuevos contenedores del cole.

- Primeros auxilios: El pasado 25 marzo 2019 , un equipo médico de urgencias del SAMUR, vino desde Madrid a explicarnos cómo realizar la RCP y en que situaciones es necesario poner en practica la reanimacion cardio pulmonar. Pudimos practicarlo con los muñecos que avisaban mediante una luz si se estaba realizando bien o no.

During the months of March and April several educational workshops have been held within the center for 5th and 6th grade students:

- Dangers in the network: Consuelo, a national police agent in Cuenca, explained to the students some of the dangers of the Internet and social media. Also, she taught them how we can avoid  those threats. 

- Women in Science: Ana, professor of Engineering at the University of Castilla la Mancha spoke about the important role that many women have played in Science and has encouraged students, especially girls, to enter the field.

- Recycling workshop: Ecoembes staff came to the school to explain to students the correct way to recycle and separate waste. After the information received about recycling, 5th and 6th graders, already experts in the subject, were in charge of explaining to the students of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th how to use the new school containers.

- First aid: On March 25, 2019, an emergency medical team from SAMUR came from Madrid to explain how to perform CPR and in what situations it is necessary to put cardiopulmonary resuscitation into practice. We also had the opportunity to practice it with the dolls that warned by a light if it was properly done or not.
